our last update, settling at around $164B. The sector chopped sideways through midweek before its sharper leg down on April 27, tracking BTC's failure to hold $79K.
BNB (BNB) itself held up better than most, down just 3.4% to ~$622, while
MemeCore (M) cratered 17.4% on profit-taking after last week's rally and
World Liberty Financial (WLFI) dumped 10.4% on the Justin Sun lawsuit (more below).
The trending list was the alpha this week, with most names defying the sector downtrend. NFT-linked tokens made a surprising comeback:

Justin Sun's lawsuit against World Liberty Financial dominated crypto X this week. Sun filed in California federal court on April 22, alleging that WLFI froze ~4 billion of his tokens worth up to $1B, stripped his voting rights, and threatened to
WLFI co-founder Zach Witkoff fired back the next day, calling the suit "a desperate attempt to deflect attention from Sun's own misconduct."
